As I was reading a new book I picked up called Intercessory Prayer by Dutch Sheets, I liked this quote that he stated in the first chapter on the lack of endurance to stay the course in prayer when waiting for an answer from God.
"We don't wait well. We're into microwaving; God, on the other hand, is usually into marinating."
