As I sang this song for the first time in church Sunday, it hit me of how being near to God is what I need and long for. He has given me more than I can even ask yet I seem ungrateful so many times. Though I might feel that He is so far away, He is closer than we think. He is more than pages in scripture, but His goodness surrounds me. No matter the circumstances I might feel I am under, I am going to believe in faith through grace that He hears me, "Speak Lord, for your servant is listening".
