Whats in a Name? So I decided to join the bloggersphere (actual word?) and didn't know what to write. So here's what I came up with: Have you ever thought about how God got His name? I mean not to sound to philosophical, but I mean our parents gave us names and they told us how they thought of that name, but what about God? I know before the world existed God existed, but where did the name originate? Isn't also interesting that all throughout scripture God has many names? You could do a whole study on the names of God Jehovah-Jirah, El Shaddai, The Great I am, Father, Abba, Daddy, the list goes on and on, just something to think about.
